Absolutely brilliant morning ghyll scrambling with Emma. From arrival, we felt like we were in safe hands. We were a party of 7 - two adults and 5 kids between 10-15 and we loved it. Despite the initial shock of the coolness of the water, the wetsuits were great and the slides and jumps had enough variety to keep everyone confident but also challenged. A perfect morning in The Lakes!

We had an absolutely amazing day with Emma from Rocqua - we did paddle boarding & Ghyll scrambling - it was really good fun. Emma was really patient and guided us every step of the way - would definitely recommend trying this with your family & friends.

Me and my girlfriend Charlie booked the canyoning with Rocqua Adventures and we couldn't of had a better time! Emma and Brian were fantastic instructors with plenty of knowledge and made us feel really at ease. Can only put 5 stars but wish I could put 10!

Just back from a fantastic and memorable afternoon with Emma Ghyll Scrambling near Keswick. Emma was such a knowledgeable, friendly and fun guide. All 5 of us, myself, husband and 3 kids aged 14, 11 and 8 were grinning and laughing the whole adventure whether scrambling down waterfalls or totally submerged in beautiful mountain water! Such a unique experience, I highly recommend booking with Rocqua Adventures 💦👌

My wife, 20-year old daughter, 16-year old son and 51 year old me, all had a brilliant time Ghyll Scrambling. Emma from Rocqua Adventures guided down the ravine skillfully, showing us how to navigate the rocks and natural slides, and ensuring we were safe and most importantly, enjoying ourselves. It was a perfect afternoon and so much fun. We couldn't recommend this experience more highly. Thank you Emma!!!

What an amazing day bonding with the kids. Emma was amazing with us all and the rest of the group, we all were of differing fitness levels and Emma made each and everyone feel at ease. We are already working out when we can come back! Brilliantly organised from start to finish, memories forever! And the homemade brownie at the end ❤️🛘💦🛘💦🛘💦❤️

Emma was a great leader, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. My 13 year old daughter and I (50) had a great afternoon. We would both recommend it. We loved the chocolate brownie afterwards too!

Brilliant afternoon abseiling with Brian who made the kids (and us!) feel so confident after just a couple of practice goes that they (and we) spent the rest of the time running back up the hill for another turn. We had such a good time that we booked Ghyll Scrambling and Canyoning for the next day before we even got back to the carpark. Best decision ever! Had an utterly brilliant few hours sliding down waterfalls, jumping into plunge pools and diving over rocks in the ghyll. Followed by an abseil (using our new skills and confidence!) into the lower part of the valley for more scrambling, sliding and jumping into pools through the remains of some old mining works. Brian was amazing, clearly very experienced and really encouraging, gave us all the confidence to do all the different challenges. The kit provided was excellent, kept us warm and well padded all the way down. Brilliant adventure,, finished off both times with Emma's excellent brownies as a welcome treat back at the van. Best we had in the Lakes all week 🥰
